Default first modifications

ok so im starting to get a bit of cash flow now and ive decided to get a little bit done to my ED.

first off im looking at exhaust and lowering....

what sort of prices would i be looking at considering when i get it lowered i want to get new shocks aswell?

also what modifications would improve fuel economy?

The exaust will improve fuel economy slightly, providing you don't have a lead foot :

haha it normally cancels itself out because when you have a sports exhaust you love the sound of it and tend to put the foot down more to hear it!

Nothing will noticably reduce fuel consumption apart from converting to that liquid LPG stuff.

Either that or rip out the seats, carpet, door trims, spare wheel etc that might save some weight!

Sports exhaust (catback system) fitted will prob set you back about $250-$350 not including a tip and the lowering for springs and shocks id be guessing about $600-$750 fitted....

You have to shop around and find the cheapest price for the products and service you want!

An exhaust its self woundn't really improve fuel eco that much, i think its the extractors that do most of the fuel saving if there is such a thing...


Keep us posted on the mods you are doing you could even open up a car profile in the designated section of the forums!

ay would you say $280 for a 2.5" to the cat is expensive with resignator....?????????
