First I would just like to know are the products that JMM (Jim Mock) are selling any good or can you get the same products else where?
Here is what I would like to know. I want to do up a tickford head that I have and I would like to use my original XR6 Cam which is in great condition and also the XR6 rocker gear that is in great condition also. I want to buy his stainless steel valves that are on his site but I know from memory that the tickford valves are bigger by about 2mm, exhaust only I think. Are the ones he has on his site the ones I need are are they just for the straight six engines? I want to get my head ported which I don't know much about, new Hi-Performance springs, adjustable cam gear, multi-layer steel head gasket, S/S valves. Any suggestions would be great on what I should do to the hear to get the best out of it. The block has only done 93,000 and is in awsome condition. |

G'day mate,
The general consensus with JMM is that his stuff is pretty good and definitely works. However, you may be able to achieve similar results for less dosh. Have a look at the E-series 1/4 mile and dyno lists and you'll find quite a few JMM equipped cars at or near the top of both lists. Cheers
