Can any one please tell me where I can dispose of car parts like a diff and transmission properly in Perth WA? Done a quick google but just find wreckers and the tip guides tell you bugger all. Any advice would greatly be appreciated. Thanks

Hi, You wouldn't get any money for delivering steel to scrap.
I drop my steel scrap to a friendly privately owned scrap metal place, rather than giving it to the council recycling stations. You can drop steel off for free at the council operated Balcatta Recycling, and Mindarie (Tamala Park) Recycling stations. At both places, you must drop it off in the shop area in dedicated area, and not drive through the weight bridge! Cheers,

Cheers happy1 I would rather give it to a private scrapper that can make some money off it rather than the council. Cheers for the advice.

Do some Google searching to find the nearest scrap metal yard.
Turn up with the transmission, diff, etc, and they'll take them. ie
