Default Redback exhaust

Hi guys I know this topic has been done to death, but was wondering if there was anyone who has a cat back, redback 2 1/2 inch single muffler system, with no resonator that lives in the inner west or not far from the city?
I wanna hear what it sounds like before i have it fitted.
I know its a long shot but thought i'd check.
Thanks guys

4L, either a good sounds clip or even someone that lives local to me in Yarraville would be great.

Hey sorry to hijack the thread, but what would be an average price for the above exhaust system installed?
Im looking for the same thing (except with a rear resonator), and have heard some people paying up to $400 for the exhaust alone, and yet others are quoting $250-300 installed.
What is a good/average/expensive price? There's a local exhaust/muffler place close by with a good rep, but i just need to know how their prices compare to elsewhere.

I paid $380 for a Redback with 2 mufflers and tip in a wagon - and wagons are usually more expensive. $400 sounds a bit much uninstalled.

$280 fitted with stainless tip.
I live in caroline springs if you want to hear mine.....

Cool thanks. With the middle muffler and resonator, you said it is quiet on the highway, but does it still sound deep and loud at higher rpm?
Im worried that a resonator might be too quiet but i know a straight through section will definitly be too loud.

Any welding required to fit yourself or is it just a gasket and bolts?

just about to ask the same thing as fordEB fairmont, how hard is it to install urself?
ive got it just sitting at home. i paid $230 for it, was the cheapest i could find at the time.
from what i understand all i need is a hoist, lol, and some gaskets as long as the end pipe inst too long, is that right? i got quoted $50 to have it put on at a muffler shop, but wouldnt mind doin it myself.

nclane: do you find that it drones a bit or is it ok when cruising?

just gasket bolts and a clamp i think from memory. comes in 2 sections rear might be a little hard to put in over the diff and axel when jacked up. I put one in a EB some time ago got it in with the back up on axel stands.

Can not here it on the highway at 100 km/h. But as soon as you give it a bit with the loud pedal, she starts barking very nicely........

which one did you get, rear pipe with a resi or straight through.
if u just put it on today than the sound will get better over a week or so cause it needs to run in.
