Default Removal Of EF Fairmont Grille

hey all, just wondering if anyone could tell me the easiest way to go about removing the bonnet grille on my EF faimont. there are 3 10mm bolts that are easily removed but in these other holes there are 2 long bolts that are almost impossible to get to and undo. any help will bemuch appreciated. thanks guys

try using a smaller socket set?

yeh thought of that but these thin bolts are like 2 inches long so a socket is useless.

we broke the longer part of the thread off, then undid with a normal socket.
don't know why they make them so long.
but only other option would be long sockets, and good tool shop should have em.

well i have managed to get the three easy bolts of at the front. got the 2 long outside bolts off, not the 2 inside ones are going to be a ba$tard. ill go upto bursons.

Their proper title is "Tube spanners", essentially a piece of tube with different sized ends, ie:10-11mm. A must have for this type of job & should be only @$3-4 from Autobarn etc.:

meh get too sockets and weld the together thats wut we did wen we need a lond 10mm for the radiater bolts on XD-F'slol

back yard garage all the way:P

and were did u get the price of 10 bux's???

wen u got somany old socket sets sittting around the garage why the hell not
no point going out and buying a new tool and probally misplace it one day wen u can just weld some together and it dont cost n e thing well defanetly not 10 buks:P

try use an open end spanner i cant remmeber how i done mine but bein an apprentice mechanic i got heaps of tools
