I will be there, removed another 50+kg's(-tow pack) should help a bit. The weathers looking quiet good for wednesday westerly's winds whch means dry humidity should start getting drier weather like down south in the next few months, well you can only hope.

If my cat-back arrives in time (should be in on Tue), and I can get Wednesday off work(which looks likely), then I'll be there

20kws and a set of slicks gave you a time of 11.6, not bad. Keep up the great effort. Your experimenting reminds me of a 1967 Falcon XR I had back in the early 80's, it was a 3 on the tree manual. I bought a 250ci engine for $200 and a Rajay turbo setup for about $250. Put it all together and the car absolutely flew, probably one of the 1st turbocharged Falcon I6's. Comparing the performance of this against my XA GT of the time, it was probably good for 14's. It was fun, tinkering and blowing off unsuspecting Holdens....

Tonigh was rolling along great at the start 5 passes by 8.30 then big oil spill ( so they ran the burnout comp which was good) then a car went all the way through the kitty litter at the end. Still trying to get my head around these manual boss's mixed results last run again did 13.446@102.19 2.089 60' 96% humidity. |

Top effort Wade as usual, yeh, I think you're going to have to get very cranky with your car! For it's punishment you'll have to give it 4000 lashes, I mean a 4000rpm launch. It won't happen overnight but it will happen!, your 12sec ET that is.

Hey guys, Great night till the oil down. oh and then there was the stang in the fence at the end of the strip, Not a great feeling I would think! I did finish the night with a 13.77@102.24. 2.106 60ft. Strange what happens when u drop 20hp and give it more down low...... The tranny feels very ordinary after wed, hope its not 2 rebuilds in 2weeks! Richard.

Hey Richard, Saw your 13.77, looked good. I think it was .2 quicker than your other passes. I rang that place about the "Wires". They said it is one size fits all. Is this what you got? Was it the Linfield branch? regards, Chris

Yes, the funny thing is they charge more for the pretty colors, eg Gold and Silver. red is the cheapest and does the same thing. Works 4 me anyway. My car went lean as soon as we put it on, so u may have 2 do a retune at the same time!
Just thought i'd try stalling it up a bit more and it seemed to make a good difference. Nothin like a bit of practice too help the 60ft.... I got some new cats put in yesterday, so back to the dyno next week, see if I can get the 20hp back and keep the down low power as well. Fingers crossed 4 an improvement. Good luck Chris, be interesting 2 see your results. ps. Got those tyres yet? Got to see your beast run, I hear its a weapon!
