That's taken from a DVD by Duke called "The Nissan GTR Story" (Downloadable)
It is a public tunnel in Japan in the middle of the night, driven by the Japanese engineer with a western journo in passenger seat. The 2 tossers in the video car talk about getting tossed around by the turbulence... Good video... download or buy it, worth the look... |

It is on a public road and the driver had just got out of prison from the last time he tried it.

That was done several years ago in the Wangan Highway Tunnel in Japan.
Top Secret R33 GTR ... the owner KAZUHIKO "SMOKY" NAGATA drove both this one and the Top Secret Supra in the UK where he managed to only get 310km/h from memory. This was back in 2000 (the UK run) Max Power did a big article on it.
