Default SA Focus Titanium Active High Beam Fault

Hi there, I have weird problem with my 2020 Titanium.

The blue high beam indicator lamp will come on the instrument cluster randomly, sometimes while following another car at night.
The external lamps seem to be still on low beam, but the dash is telling me otherwise. Once I've overtaken the car you can see the auto high beam kick in and it appears to be working.

The dealership has had the car for a week, have driven it at night and replicated the fault.
They have updated all the software and contacted tech assistance with no solution.

Anyone else had the same?

I think I have something similar in my car. Yes, the high beam indicator will sometimes come on when following another vehicle but only on open roads with no street lighting. Have a look at the following -

Let us know if you find anything out.

Are they the adaptive led matrix headlights? This may be normal operation as they can stay on high beam but actually shine around other cars.
Have you read the owners manual?

Thanks Top Ghia, we read the manual over the weekend and as you say, it could be normal operation.
Just weird having the blue high beam indicator on following a car!!
Cheers.

Considered that its indicating the lighting condition requires/would benefit from high beam, but only actually activates once there is no cars in front?

Pretty much, the high beam blue indicator on the dash illuminates but the external lights don't change spread or pattern until passing the car in front.
I had a MD Mondeo Titanium with the same setup and it didn't do it.
Still a weird 'feature'.
