Default Eels Vs Storm - Where will you be?

Now im not a huge footy fan but i can't pass up the championship - especially when its my local team, the Eels playing. I think i'll either be hitting it up at the local pub or going large with my mates in the Pirate Bar (nick name for his garage)

Who are you goin for and where will you be?

I'll probably be sitting around the house somewhere. I may even switch the game on.

I'm going Storm (well I am Victorian)

At home screaming at the tv with my mates with the mrs running for cover.

GO PARRA!

Pretty funny watching people jump on the Hayne Train *cough - band wagon - cough* supporting Parramatta.

Be a good game, Parra can do some freakish stuff, but the Storm are all a very well drilled unit.

I'm with you.
Will be a great grand final though, with the Storm set plays, up against the improvised runs of Parra/Hayne.
Hindmarsh will put the hurt on Slater early.

Me and some mates were going to watch it in person but went to order tickets a little to late and only 3 seats were left (5 of us) so we aren't going anymore. So now we will most likely be sitting in front of the tv at a mates place with a carton of beer and ear muffs. Last week was loud enough so got to brace myself for this week.

I have 2 tickets with the Blue and Gold Army. I am working Sunday morning, so I will be going straight from work to the game.

Inglis and Smith are the key players for the Storm.

Inglis will playing on the same side as Grothe, who has been suspect in defence for many years. Joel Reddy will need to be on the ball and really help out Grothe as he has done in the previous games.

All this talk about Hayne is great, but defence will be the key in the Eels sucess. They will need to be tight and slow down the quick play the balls and darting runs from Cam Smith.

Should be a cracker of a game. I am a die hard Eels fan, have been for over 30 years and win lose or draw I will walk away happy. Mid way through the season they were looking down the barrel of the wooden spoon and to make the final series let alone the GF was a huge bonus for me.

At home watching it on the TV. Moping about the fact ive got to wait another 5 months until the Knights play again.

Here's hoping Melbourne dont win, ill support any team over Melbourne, even Cronulla. Damn Storm dont even have a solitary homegrown player .

Vote 1 for someone poleaxing Billy Slater early on and Inglis getting injured. Mortimer better fire for Parra, because im sure Hayne will, but its harder without Mortimer at 5/8th. Parra defence in the middle of the field can win it for them (Charging down on Cronk and Finch), but the defence on the Wing (Growthe) is a big liability.

Storm are a very strong team and are playing very well at the moment. So are Eels but they don't seem as polished.

I hope someone lays a huge hit on Hayne.... after 2 knees to the head of the bloke last week he gets up complaining he did no wrong

I'll be looking to escape from my niece's wedding. Wedding's don't go beyond 4.50pm, do they?

If Parra win then it would be like Larry Perkins winning Bathurst from last place many years ago.

youve got to hand it to melbourne, they've done consistently well for the last few years. Isn't this the third year in a row in the GF? hopefully they don't get walked over like last year.. that was a disgrace.

GO THE STORMERS.

I will be watching it at work. Upside is we have a bar and 60in plasma at work so its not all bad. Going for the Storm cause they have the most QLD'ers in their team.

i'll be supporting my team the EELS . have supported them all my life . my sons favourite team is the STORM , my daughter will be backing storm , and my wife being from queensland will back storm because it has more queensland players in it than any other team :

was invited to a family football gathering , but am staying home to watch it on my PLAZMA . size does matter. plus its only a few stairs to the bedroom after guzzling through the game .
