These look like a good design. Anything that makes the thief's job more difficult is worthwhile and $80 seems reasonable.

Hacksaws and crow bars? Did they make that demo video in the 90’s?

I have a Brandt PIN code system. So either they won't get it started anyway but if they do hopefully it will shut off the engine like it has done a few times to me and put them into a tree. If all that fails they are pros so you can't win anyway

Sucks how you have to work hard for your stuff then spend extra money to keep it while some Grange-sipping Judge on 500k plus a year with all the benefits gives out a slap on the wrist.

I looked in to this device some years ago.
There's just one little problem with it for many of us Ford owners here... It will not work on any Territory or Falcon except the BA (with manual transmission). The design is flawed, as it will not fit over the larger brake pedal of Falcons & Territories. The Australian ex-cop who designed it is an idiot.... Why design a car anti-theft device for Australians that does fit common Aussie Fords. Don't believe me... Scroll down to the cars that are listed as "Incompatible" with this device on this link; http://www.coplock.com.au/faq.html Last edited by GO FURTHER; 05-05-2018 at 12:42 AM. |

A cordless angle grinder with a 1 mm wide cutting blade would cut the thing off in less than a minute. The harder the steel, the better they cut.
