Hi guys

Thanks for the replies
A few quick repsonses

Specs are 3.2 litre NA Boxster 6
191kw @ 6250
310nm @ 4800
Redline 7200

0-100 5.5
0-400 13.4
Top speed 264

Triptronic 5 speed auto (like nothing I've ever driven before very very smart trans)

Hangs on and corners ridiculously well. In gear accelaration is the highlight. 100 --> 200 just happens (private road of course)

Will drop a full report in when we have clocked up a few more k's in it

Congrats on a great little package there Mr & Mrs XWGT.

You can't go wrong with top of the line Euro cars...

something i'll be doing after some time initially in an Aussie car more than likely.

68 isnt too bad for a 2000 model, 13 per year which is probably what it will do now. Feels brand new to be honest, very very tight, interior perfect, not a single rattle or squeak.

Looking forward to playing with it some more. I must admit the sound of the 3.2 Boxster on full noise is sensational, and thats coming from a life time V8 owner!
The other item that has me in love is the transmission, and the way it changes back down the gears for you in auto when your driving it hard to launch it out of corners. A little peice of genious that!

Are you fairdinkum ? im also 6'2 and i was feeling quite uncomfortable after 15 mins in a Boxter, apart from that, it had the best handling and braking of any car i have been in.
I hope you don't plan to work on it your self, i looked under the front and rear hoods to see two luggage spaces and no motor ?, but i know it has one inbetween somewhere

Yep, am fair dinkum, have a few inches left over, you just have to actually put the seat FORWARD and lay it back further. Sounds reversed but actually gets you more room.

Yes there is an engine under there, somewhere lol. I dont plan on working on it myself, but naturally you can monitor criticals (oil level/coolant level) from the rear boot filler points and dip stick and also it is electornically monitored via the dash. Opening the engine compartment requires a) a warm day yo have the roof down and b) and engineering degree lol
