I just got home from an extended night shift (yay, 12 hours looking after sick people) to find some thieving little bastard has stolen the wheels off my car! SON OF A BITCH!!!! Needless to say I'm not in the best of moods, considering I've got another shift tonight, it's windy as hell and my ED is propped up on bricks! Dunno what they were thinking, they were only the EB XR6 wheels. So if anyone on the forum knows of anyone in Adelaide who FOUND a set, let me know. I'd be VERY interested to meet them.....

I remember a brand new Holden ute down the road from me had its wheels nicked and was just left in the middle of the street ... not even on bricks

My gf keeps telling me, "well at least you've got the other wheels to put back on" I'm sure she means well, but she likes commodores!

Ill keep an eye out in the traiding post/classifies/ebay for you anyway

Anything about them that would make them stand out from others - marks, scratches etc?

I stripped off all that clear crap and polished them nice & shiney, that was about all. They were in really good nick with not too many scratches too. They had brand spankers 205x65x15 Azzuro tyres (cant remember if they were bridgestone or goodyears!)

put a wanted ad in some trading papers, most theives are usually pretty dumb and woundnt think twice, just write that you will pay good money....

Insurance are covering the loss, since the wheels were a factory item, they have no problem payin for replacements. I am not looking forward to stripping & polishing another set of wheels tho!

Bugger re: locknuts... sounds like they must have been planning it, as they sounded like they were very prepared. you going to go for similar wheels, or go for something different with the insurance $$??
