The last three days we've been getting pretty full on stuck into working on the car.
On saturday we spent most of the day prepping and priming all the small exterior plastics that need to be done in silver (such as handles, side mirrors, spoiler etc). Sunday was spent sanding back the primer and spraying them in color. Unfortunately since the alot of it was previously sprayed in enamel paint, a few of the things had places were the two paints reacted due to the primer being too thin, so those were then sanded back and primed again. Today, we got stuck into fixing and sanding the bonnet, and also gave it a lick of primer to better show any minor imperfections that still need to be tacked. Also, i spent some time sanding back all the corners on the boot and rear quarters aswell as all the imperfections. Here's some pics Bonnet being worked on... Enough fibreglass?? Bonnet primed Also as promised, took the opportunity to take some happy snaps of the engine bay while the car was outside. As you can see in the pics, the belt shroud was also painted in silver. Still not sure whether i like it, so any comments on this would be appreciated... So yeah, been a busy few days, and the next few will be just as busy. More pics and updates as they happen

Steve, it is coming along nicely! Only Jack has had his car off the road long than yours and good to see it will be back on the road before Jack's as well.

looks great Rymers....
my personal opinion is it needs a 3rd color for highlight... Blueprint is close to the blue anodising on your catch can so I would go with that.. Paint the dipstick handle, make little flat discs and attach them to the power steering, oil caps and to cover the washers for the shockie rubbers. Maybe abit of airbrushing on the power steering shroud to break it up?? my dodgey ps

I agree with racecraft, either a red or blue is needed somewhere, do much silver IMO.
HPC looks awesome though! And what is the box with the lines coming off it in the left hand front of the engine bay?
