Default Well done Neb!

Just want to say "WELL DONE" to Neb for his 15.5 at Calder last night. Bloody impressive time from the wagon, certainly surprised a few people too.
http://www.fordforums.com.au/timesli...page=25&page=3

And no Neb, you were not the slowest last night, no where near it, you whipped quite a few cars there last night.

Anyhow, bloody good time, told you it gets addictive too! :

Great stuff Neb, could well be the quickest time we've seen from a wagon.

That is a nice time.

Congrats Neb! :voldar02:

I should get my backside down there one night and see what I'll be up against when the EB is back on the road. :

Thanks Casper! I was a bit dissapointed I only got 2 runs, But very happy with my 2nd run faster than what I thought I would get!

There were a few cars running 16s and even 17s so I definately wasn't the slowest.

You're right about it being addictive I want to go again soon. It was a good night! Your car was pretty quick as well running 15.3 great times from an auto 6cylinder!

There were a LOT of cars running slower than yours Neb, I was stunned at the times you got. Hell, a 15.7 on the first run....and a stuffed gearchange, thats bloody impressive alone.

You are now officially addicted, its just unfortunate the "proffessional" drag cars were crap. Smacking into walls at 150mph and then another one grenading on the start line and dumping its guts...so inconsiderate of us amatuers who can at least get a car down the track without drama's :

Oh, and 15.3 was crap...I'm not a happy camper AT ALL!

Still preprogrammed.
I wont be racing again until I know for a fact that the car will do 14.xx runs all day, every day. I'm over this crap now, time to get serious and make some changes.

Maybe, but thats something for another forum, this is Nebs thread.

Should have seen some faces when he pulled up at the line. Quite a few laughs...that stopped suddenly when they realised the old wagon was blitzing some of the other cars times, including a fully worked XF, a BMW 318i show pony and quite a few others.

Yeah I did get a bit of crap. One guy said to me "why did you get a wagon". And just when i was 2 cars away from racing and a car dropped oil all over the strip I was stopped up there some ******** repetitively yelled out "WAGON" and "HYPER" lol.

Almost makes me want to spend lots of cash and go turbo just to stick it up them lol!

Well done Neb, wish I had known earlier Neb was taking his wagon to calder, I would have taken mine to give him a run, theres nothing like two E-Series wagons side by side down the quarter.

When you goin again neb?

Once again well done!!!, keep up the good work. Whats the new motor that your putting in? (As mentioned in above messages)

Yeah well what I noticed is no one that was actually racing were saying anything. It was only the spectators!

I just ignored them anyway no big deal.

Thanks for all the comments too from everyone not too bad for a 6cylinder wagon.. once the new engine setup is done in a few months I should be running somewhere in the 14s. Hopefully I don't get bored of that.. otherwise I'll be spending lots more money turbocharging it... but we'll see what happens!

mr_efxr - it would be great having 2 e-series wagons racing each other. I'm not sure if I'll be going to calder again within the next few months or just wait until the heathcote drags in august. But if you plan on going one friday night send me a private message and I might come! its great fun!

It's funny when you hear them saying "my car stock would run a flat 13".

Of course it would....just need to push it off a cliff to do it.

Its well known that all the REALLY fast cars are owned by the meatheads in the crowd. They would have raced them tonight but [insert bullshit lame *** excuse here]. Of coure, if you want a REALLY fast car, their [insert relative/friend/workmate here], they have the fastest [insert model here] in Australia! Its worth [insert price of QE2 liner here]. :togo:
