Default Happy Mothers Day!! Fatal in Clarinda

Guys Girls i was just reading Landau1974V8's thread about his parents head on and was so relieved that all was OK with them apart for some bruising.

In the Clarinda (Melbourne) accident things went a bit different.

this is what happened.

I was driving back from the city and was about to turn into North Road from Warrigal to get to my place a few more kms.

The time was 1:13

I get a phone call from my closest friend.

I answered Hi Lou,

All i heard was him screaming and shouting, "George Is Dead, Geoge is Dead"

George, 20 was my Godson.

I was there at his birth and now i had to see him entangled in a green ute wrapped around a tree. Literally.

Because it was a drissly night the roads where wet and obviously very slippery.

This is no excuse for the driver who i also know, to have been speeding, this i dont know for a fact but if they where doing 40 kp/h i very much doubt this would have happened.

The car spun hitting a tree right at Georges door, from what i could see at the crash site the tree had reached the drivers area.

Thankfully he must have passed instantly.

I think it again is a wake up call as i hate lecturing people on speeding and hooning especially if we love our modified cars.

George was working at a major service department looking at becoming a mechanic but was also thinking at going back to Uni to finish his accounting degree.

..............................

Chookie (Georgie) my beautiful godson, i will always love you and never forget you.

I promise to continue to look after Mum Dad and Johnny.

You are in a better and safer place now...

You are dearly missed.

Nouno and Nouna

Paul, Joanne and you godbrothers Jamie and Anthony

Rest in Peace My Angel

Thanks guys, i have been with Georgies parents all weekend, i just came to work to get my mind off things, we went to the coroners so the parents can identify their boy, F@(K what a horrible experience that was... i didnt go in to see him... id rather remember him as he was...

police lady rang with the report last night (Sunday Night)

took blood from driver, alcohol was found dont know if it was a small or large amount, either way P Platers shouldnt drink at all (i think its law)

Does the power to weight ratio rule still apply?? it was a 5.7 litre SS ute new rear weight as quite a bit of grunt.

Speed? do you ask how fast he was going??

how about 145 kph!?!? have a google map search and look at Davanzo Avenue Clarinda it was the tree outside number 44,

how would the lil pick up so much speed while it was drizzly and so so slippery

The street is so narrow that you have to slow down when going past a parked car

These kids think they are invinsible at this age ...

They aren't

Any young driver looking at this thread please please be careful. You arent invinsible.

You are human, precious to your parents just dont do this to them as this kid did to my Godson and his parents

Sorry all im still grieving...

Paulie

Condolences Paul
Its hard to find the right words at this time to express our sorrow on the news. I knew George as he played soccer at Bentleigh Greens with my son Lucas. As we lived only down the road from George on Rowan rd they used to go to the games together with Lou and Johnny.
Our prayers and thoughts are with the family at this sad time.
Again our condolences
From Vince ,Lucas and the whole Pansino family

Our thoughts are with his Dad, Mum, Johnny, his family and friends.
A life is a sacred thing, and to be taken so young is an absolute tragedy.
Rest in peace George.
All our love Noel, Kathy & the entire Kazantzis family.

George was a mate of mine we werent close friends but, as i only met him a couple of times but just cause i didn't know him as much doesn't mean i wouldn't be upset about his death :(.. The time i met him i thought he was a really kool kid. As everyone says he was soo fun to hang around with.. We all wish this never happend but theres nothing we could do but to pray to god that his in a better place now.. I whent to the scene where the accident occured today and saw all the flowers and belongings of george and friends and thought to myself "George Why Did You Have To Leave Us All... I wish i got to know you more mate :(" As for the family im really sorry for the loss of your son George aka chookie. He will be missed by everyone. When i got back home from the scene i made up a picture of chookie in photoshop and here it is... It will also be at the accident scene when i go there next or ill get my cuzin Mario to put it there.

R.I.P George you will always be in our hearts.

And this is from all the boys:

R.I.P George.
We are never gonna forget you or the
laughs we had.
Life is going to be hard without you,
but atleast we all know your up there
in heaven, looking down on us.
R.I.P mate you will be missed

All our love from the three Mario's, Michael Theo, Steve Pantis, Valentino Papasava the list just goes on mate.... so ill say the ENTIRE boys/girls..

Sorry to hear about the passing of your godson Paulie. I know its hard to deal with but just keep your chin up and think of all the memories. Even my nephew Steven from where the boys had left just before is still pretty torn up, and in disbelief.

Hi Nick, thanks for that... didnt know Steve was your nephew what a small world ey??

I think Steven was one of the first on the scene, before the police got there, so what he had seen must have been quite horrific. Nothing a young kid should experience so early in life.
