Default Windows not going auto up

Gday all,
I discoed the battery on the weekend in order to reset the ecu and now my front windows dont do the auto up function when they are down. They power up and down manually but Ive lost the autoraise. Any ideas....
Also I need to enter the radio code. Ive owned the car since new and have never had to enter this code so I have no idea where it is. I have the spare key which has a small piece of plastic attached with 4 numbers on it but it didnt turn out to be the radio code.....
Cheers
Shep

damn, mines the same model - now I wanna know why mine doesnt work!
Is it drivers and passenger that is auto up?
The auto down def works on mine, but I have the habbit even after 4 months to turn the car off, realise the window is open, turn acc back on and wait for it to wind up ever so slowly.

**Adds that to the checklist for my service next month**

I think someone mentioned in another thread you need to start your car with the windows fully up or fully down a few times so it re-learns where the beginning and ending are

don't quote me on that. maybe do a search for the exact procedure

Put the windows up and hold the switch up for 10 secs. Try that too.

I remember hearing something a while ago that you have to "reset" the anti-trap function of the windows. I do believe that there's something in the manuals about it too.

lol weird. Does anyone know if Falcon's are meant to have auto up as well? Our BAII Futura has auto written on the Drivers window button, but only ever auto'd down since we got it over a year ago. My BA XT doesn't have auto.... and the BT-50's auto is a pain in the A#@, if you go auto up, then want to stop it halfway, you click down and it starts autoing back down.

Do none of you people ever read your owners manuals???
Most of the answers to the questions you guys ask on here are in the manual.

Sorry for the rant, just back when I worked in the service dept. we would constantly get customers asking questions about things they would already knowthe answer to if only they ever took the time to sit down and read their manuals.

This is the official method for resetting anti-trap. Hold them for 5 seconds I think it is, not 10. Has to be done on each individual window. Memory will wipe after a battery reset/replacement.

Owner's manual explains it.

Falcon windows do not auto-up as they have no anti-trap mechanism built in. Only the driver's window is auto-down.
