That is why you should never muck around when in control of 1200+kg of motor vehicle. You will always finish off 2nd best.

Well said, I agree, I really felt sorry for the poor car having the rings revved out of it like that and bouncing off the limiter, but geeze that would have hurt getting trapped under the car like that. Bet he won't be doing that again in a hurry!

Imagine the white-hot exhaust from being on the limiter for the last 2 mins against his skin whilst trapped under there for that long

i saw this the other day. the hot exhaust would be the last thing i would be worried about.

see how low the car is, and as it goes over him how much higher its sitting up? means he's taking quite alot of the cars weight straight through him and the car spins around 180 degrees while ontop of him..

Don't know if this is a stupid question but how is the car still going like that when he's no longer in it?

something to jam the throttle open.. no idea what though. its kind of good the car got caught ontop of him, otherwise it would have rushed off in 2nd or 3rd gear (not sure what it was in) and possibly killed some others

I assume this guy actually deliberately got out of the car, and intentionally had the throttle stuck open? I mean, I've just seen it, but really, that stupid?

I assume it was a stunt show by the looks of the event - pretty cool stunt, too bad it went wrong for him...

As far as holding the throttle open, tis many ways to do it - then just a $2 switch can be rigged up and lock the steering wheel as well.

That has to hurt. I was impressed by how the car used the driver to finish it's burnout.
