Has anyone rebuilt them selves the LSD in an AU?
Mines starting to make noises again so I was gonna pull the one apart I have in the shed and rebuild it and maybe shim it out a bit. |

touch wood(my head) mines still nice and quiet with gear noise at 205,000 k`s , early on i did use some after market friction stuff, but , there is a bit of back lash in it, been thinking about it, but it`s down the list of priorities at the moment.
sounds like a plan Day-mow, a bit of literature would`nt be a bad thing as a as a step by step guide, i much prefer to have a go at rebuilding stuff even if i have little experience in a certain area, gets me into trouble some times , it`s all part of the fun though . good on you, let us know how you go. |

They're pretty easy to do, just machine the cones or replace, and then shim up.
I've done heaps.
