Default can't get a straight answer bout Mpoint

i have a Spac that i'm wrecking (see post in parts for sale) and i want to grab the MPoint stuff for my EA. I have read through the tutorial on the ford-tech site but i've been told that because my car is on LPG that i can't convert it.

does anyone know 100% that this is true?

You can convertit you just need a gas mixer to suite the Mpfi setup.

if you're lucky enough to find it you can get the LPG stuff off a MPI car from a wreckers, would save you heaps $$ that way instead of buying new from a gas place....

then do the MPI conversion, and get the LPG stuff fitted and tuned at a gas place.....

MPoint = Multi Point Fuel Injectors.
as aposed to Centre Point Fuel Injection, both were avialable on EA's and EB 1's.

LPG conversion in most cases is around the $2000 mark unless you're dealing with 2nd hand components or doing some of the fitting yourself.
some always has to be done by a licenced installer.

most likely wouldn't be cheap.
tank brackets would be differnet, tank may be close to out of date.
new service lines would need to be installed
various engine bay components wouldn't be suitable.
