Default No Power

okay the new engine is lacking power,it doesnt want to go past 40-50 and it is shifting gears weird.if i put my foot down it just starts to pop and fart and backfire slightly.i did take of the cam pulley on the ef motor to fit my ea one on would this have anything to do with it?it feels as though it doesnt want to go and just wants to stay in first at 20 : (its a 3spd)im running the cfi for now but the whole motor came of a running car and it was a straight swap except pulleys

sounds like really bad timing or your map sensor hose is unpluged or damaged in some way.

map sensior is locted on the left side of the firewall

above the intakemanifold

andyer sound's like the hose has a hole or it's just sht it's self
did you cheak you'r timing it could b way out
