Default Pre 1970 ID Plate

Hi. Not sure if this is the right part of the forum, please excuse me if it isn't!

I'm looking for a pic of the ID plate Ford Australia used on any pre 1970 Australian built Ford.

I have a 1969 Capri 1600GT, and I can read the typed/embossed details of my car on the plate, but I can't read the pre-printed parts labelling the MODEL, SIDO etc.

Can someone send me a pic or tell me where I could see a sample plate? Thanks!

modena,

the following link has pics of falcon compliance plates from 1967 onwards. but all ford vehicles used the same plates. the examples are down the bottom of the page.

Hi Mark,

I have a special word document which includes an ID plate and details of all the 1969 Capri numbers which I'll e-mail to you!

Regards, Terry
