Hello All, my AU xr8's roof lining just came down all at once and shed a heap of the foam all over us. I was straight into it with spray adhesive and it came straight back down. The foam keeps coming away from the fabric. Question is how do I get the roof lining out without damage or is this something I should leave to a professional?? If so, does anyone have a clue as to cost. I need to economise in 2015!!! Thanks for any help. George

Hi George, i removed mine then took it to a pro to do it. Here's a excellent link (thanks to Beer Baron) to help you get it out & if you wish, repair it -

Thanks everyone, with the cost of about $150 to $200 I think that I'm better off getting it done by a professional and saving my lungs from the dreaded yellow dust. George

Hi guys,
The roof lining in my AU has just started falling down. I live in Victoria, South East of Melbourne. Does anyone know of a GOOD car upholsterer in this area? Much appreciated for any help. |
