Hi all, can i ask the help of an expert please. So our 2008 Ford focus started leaking water inside at drivers footwell. Mechanic advised it is heater core and bypassed it. However still leaking and I isolated the source to the circled bit on the picture. Does anyone know what this part is? Is it part of the aircon? Any suggestions how to resolve?
Thanks heaps in advance |

it was common for the inlet to the heater core to leak in the LT series there are threads about this on the site and some cheap fixes as the proper fix requires dash removal(expensive) to replace it.
