Hi ya Dave, seeing how your a mad coupe fanatic I got something that might interest you. I've been buying SM since I was 8. The first mag I bought in 1988 for $2.50. Then when I was about 16 decided to cut every single coupe feature and put them into plastic slips in a folder and throw the rest of my mags away, because I loved only coupes so much and now 13 years I can't recall the last time I pulled them out to have a look. when I get a chance to catch up with you, go through and take what you like. Rather it go to a fanitic then the bottom of my draw.

i can see why you cut them out of those mags, SM has become so choc full of GMH that i simply won't buy it anymore. i only buy AMC and the occasional street fords.

What a great find!! I always wondered about this one. Looks like a stickered up road car!! Obviously a rush build to further develop the coupe for the track.

I always thought Colin Bond was the number 2 Hardtop of 76 77 era. Did Goss and Bond swap during the seasons?

Spotted these in the Motor Racing Museum at Bathurst. They are there at the moment until at least the 1000 in October for the 50th Anniversary.

If your in the area check them out as its not very often that you see the real 1 & 2 coupes together.

I hope they do a parade lap repilcating the 1977 finish

The escort in the background is still around as well & would look great behind them

Thought I would share this original print I have been given, taken by a friend of a friend's father who was a motorsport photographer back in the day. Autographed by the great man himself. Appears to be coming around the bowl at AIR. Am hoping that he may have many more of these stashed away Typical Moffatt pose with the head at full tilt
