Default Pacemaker Extractors - Differences

Hey all

Trying to work out the difference between the 2 different types on Pacemaker extractors. One is COMP and the other isn't. The price difference is around $90.

Are the Comp's really that much better ? Is it worth the extra $90 ?

Im trying to figure out how much of a difference it would really be.

Can anyone comment on the items for sale off ebay ? :

Any help would be great...

Here are the items
COMPS PH4480
NORMAL PH4499

from reading about them on here the 4499's give better low - mid range power/torque whereas the comps lose a bit in the low - mid range but gain more in the high range...im sure someone will correct me if im wrong

Casper is right. In a word the comps ph4480 are better. Thats why they cost more! Well sort of.

The small primary tuned 6 into three into one design was proven in the saloon cars to deliver a broader powerband. Some Falcon tuners would say the secondaries are too short for good mid range and this may be true when compared to six intot two into one systems.

The 4499 is a compromise big pipe approach easier to build easier clearances etc which works well in forced applications NO2 and Supercharging not Turbo obvioulsy. It doesn't work together with the BBM as well as the 4480 but will still give good power in the 4000-5500 range.

fair enough then...well i have the standards, and as it seems that they aren't as good in the low range they still are a hell of a lot better than the standard manifold i can tell you that much

Jet-Hot - $600 delivered to Melb, otherwise probably a little bit more for Syd, say $620...
