Default Need fully custom Carbra made-S/E QLD

Hi everyone!

With a long drive planned to the FPV Open Day in Melbourne in February, we have decided to start looking to find someone on the Gold Coast or in Brisbane who will make a fully custom car bra for our Pursuit 250 (with the supercar front).

I have searched the forums, but nothing really answers my question locally, we just have no idea where to go to!

Any recommendations of fitters you have dealt pleasantly with?
Do you know anywhere that will make a custom one?
How much should we expect to pay?

Any help would be great. Having looked at the carbra site and a few others it seems they are all down south and we would definately need to take the ute to them to get it measured by the person who will make it.

Thanks in advance!

Jennifer

I can't help you with a recommendation for a supplier. You will have trouble. Your best bet would be to find a good upholster in your area. I had my carbra made. Top section was a blank and the bottom section was made on site. It will be expensive and they will want your car for 2 to 3 days. I think it is worth it. So find a really good auto upholster and go with them. Hopefully yo can find someone who will touch the job. I think it's something they arn't all that keen on doing. Good luck

Thanks Bucky,

When i searched i saw your thread, got all excited, then realised that you are no were near the Gold Coast...

If the top section was a blank, im assuming that is one straight from a manufacturer. With an Au front, a BA supercar front, a BA bonnet bulge, will any standard parts fit do you think? Or would it all need to be made from scratch?
Is it hard to find someone to do it because it is a very involved project, and in all reality doesnt make much money, because they cant use the mould/base again anyway?

As for the 2-3days, im sure we can cope, it was in the body kit place 2 months lol.

The top section where the bulge is will be fine. The bra doesn't come all the way up top the base of the bulge. Not sure about lower section as the Supercar front is quite large in the lower section. Only thing you can really do is approach someone. I am sure someone out there will be up for a challenge. The guy who did mine didn't realise how much work was involved. No where near the work for you.

I'd love to see it. Think it will look great
