These would look great on your AU, and my price is negotiable.

Hi Matt I too have an AUII white Fairmont but a wagon. White was the practical choice too as I would have loved the dark blue but shopping centre parking dents have taught me white is your friend.

I hated the std alloy wheels and really wanted to get a set of AU rebel wheels but eventually swapped mine for a set of AUII Futura ones which look sort of similar but are still 16"

For $2000 odd you can get a set of 18" rebels and the 18" fill the huge wheel arch gap much better.

Those wheels would look SIK on my AU Sox. and if i had $1000 i'd buy them with tyres, problem is postage to WA would probably cost more than the wheels. and i feel sorry for the posty that has to move them on his/her little suzuki moped.

while w're on the subject does upgrading from the standard 15" to 16" or 17" mean a great deal of work, in terms of resetting spedo or anytthing like that?

15" just look stupid in the big wheel arches of the AU and in AUII Ford tried to fix this by going to 16" all round which also cleared the bigger better front discs too.

18"s probably do look best as far as I am concerned but I am not going to change now and if I did I would get a 3.73 or 3.45 diff ratio swap to over compensate for the slightly bigger wheels and tyres.

Have a look here for wheels

My AU2 (when I get T3 Kit) is most likely going to get Modena's in Black, probably 18's cos I can't justify the tyre prices on 19's.

I personally think it makes them look really tough. Specially when she's nice and low. Plus, something very different from the chromes that everyone seen to have, which to me can look very tacky. I think these rims would only match a darker coloured car (that bkue looks hot though) - white..maybe not.

Rick.
They'd be good for days at WSID wouldn't they ?

I'd consider them myself for that purpose if I could get some money together.

I need them to fit the 330mm brake upgrade that I am getting in the ute.
Plus will look good with the TS50/Pursuit kit as well.
