Not a big fan of them, mostly because they look like they arn't lined up right. I've also been told they provide poor lighting, I think painting the frame of the standard lights would look/preform alot better

They are different at night, but IMO better. I've never had any issues with visibility at night. There is one screw that is a ***** to get out, and I found it easier to remove the grill. Apart from that, its a straight bolt-on replacement. Oh, i had to re-do the connection for the parker bulb, but thats a simple, cut the wire, solder a the connection that comes with the light, and sparky tape over it. Took about an hour, and that was completely winging it.

I used to have those ones ... the high beam alignment was awful and not even ... low beam was worse ... I went back to factory headlights and had them modified with projectors inside them. So much happier now. Perfect flat top cut-off beam ... peripheral beam is WAY better as well.
I need to get out and do nightshots on the open road ... its hard to explain. My low beam reaches a good 100m in front of me on the road ... but the beam stays low ... if I am following a vehicle 3 seconds behind my beam does not go higher than their bumper level. I also have no dull patches at all in my beam either ... all the same brightness. But as a down side the outer lights are now H1 (not dual filament H4) ... but I have gotten over the issue of loss of outer high beam ... I used Lightforce 240 driving lights :

I have the same lights as 5tumpy but in black, there doesn't seem to be a problem with mine, I haven't done that much night driving with them however. I had more troubles with the standard lights with those black rimed light covers.
