Would a higher stall muck up my custom edit?? Im looking at getting a 2500rpm stall.
This is after me and my dad went for a cruise to Singleton, running in the F6 motor along putty rd, lol. The problem is it sometimes slips out of gear, doesnt matter what gear you are in still does it, just keeps building revs, any thoughts?? Forgot to say there is a problem with my auto (reason for this thread, stall etc) lol... Last edited by poolkeeper; 05-02-2007 at 04:19 PM. Reason: *_* |

If it slips out of gear, it is more likely to be either low fluid, or a faulty solenoid/valve.
But, if you get a 2500rpm stall, it won't affect your tune as such as the hi-stall just changes the initial takeoff and then subsequent converter lock up points. It shouldn't change the engine tune at all. Casper or Jonbays will know more about it though - perhaps a direct PM to either one may be quicker than waiting for a reply to this thread, which they may not see.

Won't make any difference to the edit at all. The Hi stall will make the car much more lively though worth doing but not on a stuffed auto as wihout a transmission cooler the extra heat will kill an old auto fast
