An Indian Company called MDI has partnered with India’s Tata, the sub-continents largest automaker to produce the first practical air powered automobile. The company claims on its website that it has invested fourteen years of research to develop an engine that could possibly save us from what Dubya calls our oil addiction.
A team headed by Engineer Guy Negre and ex Formula one Engineer has developed the engine that quite possibly could holds the promise of fuel free motoring without giving up range and convenience of the automobile, as we know it. Guy also developed the W engine before Volkswagen Automobiles high-end W engines. His W engine featured a revolving valve system and was premiered at the FPI (French Petroleum Institute). The technological magazine online publication Popular Mechanics says the prototypes can hit 68 mph and have a range of 125 miles making them quite practical for city use. Too late...Shell, Exxon Mobil, BP and Woodside have already started drilling for Air on the North West Shelf and on Bass Straight.
Initial reports suggest a modest fee of $1.30 Per Litre For Standard poluted air, $1.40 Per Litre for Purified Air and $1.50 For the Premium Performance Air..(Rumoured to make the average Human live longer on One Breath) All other Air Reserves have been bought by un named multi-national conglomerates. The ACCC, RAC and NRMA are concerned that Consumers may Suffocate under the expenses
