Default aufalcon.com update: member multimedia albums

Hi everyone,

A small note to say that all members now have their own multimedia albums. You can post images, SWF files and videos.

It is accessed by a new option in the My Account menu: My Multimedia.

Create an album, then add a new object. Select the image and enter title, description, etc.

To upload a non-image (eg. sound or video), select it into the Upload File field and use the Upload Image field to upload a thumbnail for it (if you have one). Otherwise, always use the Upload Image field to upload an image.

We'll be keeping an eye on it so please don't post anything that wouldn't be acceptable here on the forums.

Some Mozilla bugs have been fixed also.

Regards,

Andrew.

That will be an intersting additon.
Does each member album have a size limit, or is it a communal limit shared between everyone?

Cheers

It is not limited at present however we have the ability to remove files if access is abused. Pics are going to be fairly liberal with topics although keeping it AU specific is always good (but pics of kids, dogs etc are welcome within reason). Video's will be policed more stringently. AU video's only please and keep them at a reasonable size.

Any illegal activity, pic or video, will be removed.

It could be thought of as like a shared limit.

This feature is good to show older photos of your car, your job, family, pets, hobbies, etc. We're not just car nuts.

We're on the way towards 600 members, too.

Awesome edition, keep up the good work on the site.

Also, shouldn't this section of the forum just be called "AUFalcon.com" instead of "AUFalcon.com.au"?

aufalcon.com and aufalcon.com.au both take you to the site.
