Default Dash board removal

I have to replace a light globe in the dash of my AU1 XR6 and was wondering how to pull the centre panel off to get to it. It's one behind the heater rotary switch.
I was also wondering how hard it would be to replace all the globes with those fancy little coloured leds that are on epay?

Default offending panel

well this is the first time i have attempted to do this, but I think I have attached a pic of the panel in question, the bulb is located behind the rotary switch number 1 on the left of the picture towards the top, it's the air flow switch.

CD player has to come out first then the panel will unscrew with the HVAC controls accessible from there.
