Default Anyone want a s/h Oxy sensor before it goes in the bin?

Hi All,

I know it's probably useless, but does anyone want a second hand Oxygen sensor for an AU i6? From memory it has about 150k on it, and I did see an improvement in fuel consumption when I changed it.

As I said, probably useless, but thought I'd check if anyone wants it before I chuck it!

Thanks,

Justin.

I'm keen, i'll take it. I'm trying to diagnose a problem with my mrs car, so it'll come in handy. Seeming as we know its rooted, if I put it in her car and the fuel consumption stays the same I'll have found my problem.

O2 sensors can be cleaned instead of replaced, they get carbon build up which inhibits there ability to function correctly. A good clean with some throttle body cleaner is as good as replacing them.

Good stuff, hopefully James is able to get some use out of it then.
