Default BOSS 351 Bonnet Stickers

Hi Everyone,

I have been toying with the idea of replacing the stock BOSS 290 bonnet stickers with BOSS 351+ But I am not to sure. I think it will look ok but aren't sure. The car is silver with orange stripes as fitted by the factory. The car has made over 280rwkw on various dyno runs on repituable dyno's.
280rwkw equates to 351fwkw allowing 20-25% loss for driveline. I was thinking the + because I have more plans for the car, but I don't think it looks as good.

Anyway just wanting people's opinions good or bad.

Cheers
Baz

Cool

you will get people on the street pointing out that a 351cu is a 5.8L V8, while a 5.4 is 330cu. and you'll explain that it's your power output on the ground and not the flywheel and so on. the rwkw will get lost in translation

Do what you turns you on. You're producing 'enough' power and have the dyno reports to back them up to not feel inappropiate with such a claim. Personally I'm not into changing the bonnet stickers, (I still have 290) bit if I were I would keep inline with what Ford had started with the modern series of engines by stating an estimate flywheel kW figure. With 280rwkW by my calculations you would be looking at approx 373kw's at the flywheel i.e. 'BOSS 370' rather than 351 fwkW's but who's counting.
