the first of the BA's rolled off the floor in september 2002. So anyone with an AU build date of Sep 02 has one of the last AU'sand if i remeber correctly, the first ones were off the floor in September 1998. be interesting to see who has the very first one and who has the very last one.....if they frequent the site at all.

The last AU's were September '02 builds and the first BA's were August '02 plated.

Hell, I'm gonna have a look at my rego properly tomorrow and chassis number,as my AU Futura is Sep 98- so it must be one of the first ones. I'm only the third owner too,and the first was a ford dealership, the second a car yard.It must certainly have been one of the first exported to NZ,anyway. |

Mine say sept 02, And the chick I bought it off told me that the dealer said that it was the last xr6 but I'd be suprised if this was true, probably chattin up for the sale. But would be awsome if it was true.

The last AU was built just before the first BA. That actually isn't probably true, but works in theory.

Is their a way of telling the number of your car. Like the exact day if it was infact close to the last one not just a month. Cause I'd love to find out how close mine is to the last (just for braggin rights lol)

if you ring up any ford parts place, with your vin, they should be able to tell you what the build date is of your car down to dd/mm/yyyy
