Default Will this make a difference??

Hi

Ive been thinkin and thinkin about what i can do to my exhaust for some time and still undecided.
I was think about keepin my stock twin 21/4 system and takin mufflers out and resinator? perhaps a hotdog at the back instead of resinator?? And even a couple of straight through mufflers to replace the stokers??

Its that or the single 2 1/2 or 3". Just lookin at $$$ to power ratio :P
Will i get improved power by takin all the mufflers and stuff out. No doubt ill get a better note?
Any thoughts would be appreciated

mate im on the same page ... looking at an exhaust package ... but i dont give a cr@p about power, i just want my 6 to sound as tuff as possible but got no clue on what to do ...

i rekon take your muffler our for sure ;) will give you that crakling noise when you release your accelerator??

go for the tuffer sound ;)

going for a good 2 1/2 system like a redback will give you a good sound and still be legal. you start riping off the mufflers on a standard system and the boys in blue will take notice of your car and the normally don't stop at defecting the exhaust they will see what else they can find just for the fun of it

Yea, im not too worried bout the coppers. I just want a crisp note and givin it a bit of power. Will takin the mufflers and stuff out give it a power gain at all?

Good quality mufflers and cats have very minimal impacts on overall power.. and keep you legal.

as a single system on a V8 I'd be more inclined to go 3" on an AU... but everyone has different opinions
