Tomorrow, my XR6 gets a roadworthy, and short of some disaster, it'll be gone some time on Saturday.

I'm not looking forward to seeing it drive away. I jokingly suggested to Felicity I spend the entire proceeds on the new truck - wasn't met with a positive response though...

I just hope the young bloke who will be paying an arm and leg to cover insurance enjoys it half as much as I have.

Isn't it odd the attachment we have to hunks of metal, plastic and rubber eh?

Indeed! You spent so much time, money and effort getting that car to the standard it was.

The kid got himself a ripper of a car!

Cheers,

It is sad when you see them go. Ive tried to sell mine twice, just for finacial reasons, and had to back out of the sale both times, just because I couldnt bear to see it go. Ive decided Im going to hold onto it until it dies, whenever that time may come.

Bloody oath, I'm gutted. Still, I've got a two good trucks which I think kick butt so it's not all bad.

I'll selling a few things on eBay. Eventualy one of those things will be a flash tuner, but I will probably offer it here first.

In case anyone is wondering, the eBay stuff is two brand spanker remotes, 2 pre-cut keys with matching ignition and drivers side door barrels. I'll be putting an entire one side of the car in panels on there as well.

Flash tuner is spoken for at this stage.
