A quick translation.

Cadillac = biggest piece of shyte ever to come out of the states.

God help the people who buy these things. After the warranty runs out, they’ll be worth nothing.

And yes, I once owned a Cadillac. Never again.

The MKS is just that, not a replacement for anything.
I've heard the Yanks will be doing the development themselves with some input from here, but they will be doing the majority of the work. I guess the yank engineers will be pushing the virtues of live axle rear ends :

Gawd. The last I heard, FoMoCo was so impressed with T6 that they needed FOA to engineer the GRWD Platform. Falcon is dooooooooomed if FoMoCo do the platform. We can kiss Control Blade Good-bye.

I'd like to see it up close. Caddies of the past have always been an eye sore. New one looks ok.

Ford Australia have a seat at the table, and control blade has been used in Focus and Jag X Type, so hopefully Ford Australia's engineers can push the virtues of it. There's not much chance of using a live axle, but Ford Nth America do some dumb things. I guess being a global future platform it will have to have all the good stuff.
