Default Uneven tyre wear.

Hey guys, i have a au series 1 which keeps wearing out the front left tyre on the outside edge, i thought it was a wheel alignment issue but its still happening after i've had a wheel alignment on my car.
The only thing i can think of was i scraped the front left a while ago, but i had a look and nothing seems bent.
Is there any other kind of alignments i need to get looked at, a friend mentioned something about camber but i really haven't a clue how to get it fixed.

thanks.

could be the camber, go to a beaurepairs or similar and get them to have a look as to why the uneven wear on that wheel, they'll find the problem. someone on here will probably know though, thats just my suggestion

Too much toe in, or too much positive camber will cause this.
Get your alignment checked by someone who knows what they're doing.

Ask around your local area. some of those franchise places are OK and others rip you off blind and tell you the whole front end needs replacing and its not brand limited it depends on who is runniing it.. We examined a car from a franchise once the poor girl came to us in tears with a quote of $1300 and that was 10 years ago. We replaced one ball joint and did a wheel alignment. A mechanic is a mechanic whether in a franchise or other business. All have the potential to rip you off so go by word of mouth as to who is honest and reliable.

Or take it to Ford and they will tell you its no worries just a loose fan belt.

I had a free suspension safety check at Wholesale suspension in Penrith ... found issues with a driver's side lower ball joint ... and also my castor bushes were on a soft/weak side ... this was on my Territory that is just about out of warranty.

At least I can take this to Ford and they can fix it under warranty now.

Teh ygave me a list of what was needed ... but no pressure to fix it. I did the same with my work ute as well ... had a ball joint replaced and did front control arm bushes as well as they were really soft causing a hell of a lot of shifting under braking.

I'll be going there again if and when i need to.
