Hey guys, i organised a day for me and a few mates but most of the buggers have pulled out :( ggrrr
So this makes it your lucky day! Any QLDers that want to learn skid control and have a HELL of a lot of fun in your car need to reply! I have only THREE Spots remaining for next sundays event! this is the most fun you can have with your pants on! The skidpan is about a acre of concrete that is covered in water so it wont hurt your car, we set up witches hats in different situation and have fun, it mostly comprises of circle work but we set up U and W shapes as well to make it interesting! Then at the end of the day we have a mini motorkhana for fun. Also a Fully Qualified Instructor is at hand all day long at no expense to show you the ropes. I reccomend using him as his knowledge is priceless! Here are Some examples from previous outings: We made the News last time! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0IbsKHdUxZs Nuts's Commy Ute: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0IbsKHdUxZs Pics: This event is being run by the Sunshine Coast Ford Club Last edited by 67-FKD; 01-12-2007 at 12:31 PM. |

That looks like soooooo much fun. Its a shame its all the way up at gympie,... also I don't have a car. I never knew the Barge was a television celebrity. Your car looked really odd with the stockies on the back, and no kit, it looks like its two cars joined together. Is the there anything like this a bit further down the coast?

You have PM 2 Spots left Yeah mate, she was on the local news up here, and if it wasnt for a train accident at the time we would of gone national haha! They do have a Skidpan dow Mt Cotton way, and somewhere else? but i think they are pretty restricted as to what you can do there (especially being that one is controlled by the government / council) Last edited by 67-FKD; 01-12-2007 at 09:30 PM. |

To those doing the math the extra funds from the extra spot is going towards supplying ALL participants with free lunch and drinks NOT my pocket! |
