Given the kays on it I doubt you'd see $20k for it. But good luck all the same.

Dont sell it!! After seeing the pics the other day of it, u'd be crazy and u would look back on selling it and realise u shouldnt have.
I had my stint of thinking of sellin my XR8 and am so happy i didnt! U'll be the same.

What would you buy anyways, anythin less than a 5L is a downgrade! lol

I've seen BA XR6T utes for under $20k... so you might be looking at to much for yours... but if offered that, go for it :P

Buy a trailer (JC, 2008).

BA XR8's are in the low $20,000's. I would think your car would be worth $15-$17k

i seen series 2 xr8's for 10's.. your car aint gonna get 20.. being a series 3 the k's are high for the age and i seen plenty of xr6t and ba xr8's for under 20.
i would say 13-14k is wat you should expect to get for it

If the T3's were struggling for low 20's I'd own one.

Have a look on caresales or the like, they don't seem to be dropping in price at all over the past 12 months. If anything the average price seems to have gone up 1 or 2k.

EDIT: Reffering to T3's

I don't know if they would ever start climbing in value, if they did it would be decades away.

OK ... we have all had a crack at this.

And I really hope xr220au3 can get the $20K he is after as well.
I had a quick look at a few of the used car sites ... and a few people have similar vehicles listed for the $19-20K mark ... but with only around the 100,000km and less mark. Unfortunately the mileage will put people off and ultimately drop the price a couple of grand in the scheme of things.

I guess it depends on your area ... and how many people are interested ... but in the end thhe used car market is a buyer's market ... and the really dominate what the price is going to be.

I was looking at selling my ute at one point ... and disheartened at the fact that I'd get next to nothing for it ... due to the milage on it. So in the end I found it wasn't worth the hassle to try and sell it.

I think this thread has run it's course and done the milage :
