Default Herrod Headers

Hey All,

Why are the Herrod motorsport headers so expensive? and are they any better than Pacemaker 4480 extractors?

Cheers

My understanding is that the HERROD units are made by Pacemaker and they are also Ceramic coated. Not sure if they are mild steel or stainless steel.

So would they be better than a pair of 4480 extractors?

if they are SS that would jack the price up...

and possibly sale quantity.. they sell less.. so might need to charge more...

If you're talking about the ones that were made/fitted to AUs, they were made by Difilipo for Herrod. The reason for price? Easy - they have the Herrod logo on them.

Theyre ok, I have no issues with mine but if I was to get some new ones now I wouldnt pay what they ask for them.

Thats about right.
Difilipo headers are Herrod headers without a Herrod logo.
Herrod headers are Difilipo headers with a Herrod logo.

Check the price on both of them. You'll be surprised at the difference

Cheers
