Default AU air intake

Today i went down to ford and got myself a tickford snorkel and fitted it without any dramas. I want to get the EL air filter lid and was just confirming that it will go straight on.

As far as I know the EL lids go on an AU. Never done it myself, but I suspect that some other guys will be able to confirm for you pretty soon.

JC would know for sure!

you need the EF lid not the EL item

i THINK the pipe going in the back is a different size tho..
may have just been how mine was due to having a 3" pipe

find a friend with an EF and test it out
its only a few clips and a bolt and a clamp

the outlet is 80mm on the Ef, the Au intake pipe is like 55mm, so yes you will need to fit a new section of pipe for au

Ef lid will fit and does have a larger hole where the intake pipe enters. AU and EL have a 2.5" hole, EF are 3". other then that they are the same, only reason to replace it with the EF lid is if you are going to replace the intake pipe.

or you can go down to autobarn and buy the 80mm joiner, that fits on the au lid to convert it from 55mm to 80mm, i did this. Fits factory OEM bolts and position
