search it online, for QLD (where I am) goto www.ppq.com.au and type in the plates you want. It will tell you if it's taken or not.

Im pretty sure you can find out over the phone when u call up vicroads...if a plate number is taken...but i dont think there is a website for victorians...personalized plate numbers prices have risen in victoria from $315 to $395...

Good stuff
I've had no attention from the cops with my personalised plates. not quite as in ya face as yours, but still, my cars not exactly stock looking.

When I got my personalised plates, everyone was saying "they're gonna attract the cops for sure". 2 1/2 years later, and I still haven't even been glanced at by them.
Guess it depends how you drive it tho... :hihi: |

I too have rather obvious plates and havent noticed any increase in police attention.
Top plate there mate, and your payment scheme is a bit diffrent to SA. That plate here would be a $170 once off payment. Wish mine [4 LITRE] were that cheep ($190/year).

Dude, I saw you out on the road yesterday. Can't remember where, but I went from Hawthorn to Campbellfield in the morning and was on the way there somewhere. I just remember the plates.

Nice plates. Love the AUII wheels on the EDs!
Also, those houses around your car look very Western Suburbs-type, a la vintage Williamstown/Yarraville style. You from around there? |
