UK - if that piping you are using is ther 3" flexible stuff from supercheap, or ricerbarn, it is NOT suitable for that application. It even says on the packet that it is only suitable to get air TO an airbox, not from an airbox to the TB. I don't know why it's not suitable, just that it's not, and I would heed the warning (would hate to see your car burn to the ground because that section catches fire, or something equally as silly).

hehe my brother used that once to hook his supercharger up to throttle body, you should see how it grow out the bonnet, than bang everywhere, lol.
I think the reason that your not suppost to use it from air filter to throttle body is that it actually leaks, and that under full throttle excelleration watch it bunch up together from the slight vacuum between filter and tb. Also i really think it would be rather restrictive in comparison to a piece of stainless. |

So now it looks like this. 3" pipe from a muffler guy joined by cut 80mm pipe I had before to act as joiners, I reckon given I don't drive to much should be OK. Also just above the bolt under the pipe.
