Default fuel pump set up correctly

think for a second, my fuel pump is the 2 litre mechanical.
on the side of the block, it has and connection on the middle LARGE ring, and a connection on the outer SMALL ring.

i have the small connection going to the tank, and the large connection going to the carb.. is this correct.?

(those who dont know the answer , you can see from the top of your engine bay...)
