Arrow how old is my cortina

My MK1 cortina has a vin model number starting with
CG 75 GD XXXX

I had a look at many sides but I am not able to find out how old the car is.

CG stands for Australia Broadmedows??
75 for 4dr sedan aut.

GD?????????I have no idea 1967??? Month???

Who can help??

Vin Numbers starts with 15CAXXXXXXXXXXXending GC

Some one out there must know

65 maybe. there is a thingy on here that will probably help in the tech resourses thing anyway. there should be a plate mounter to the left hand front on the engine bay somewhere neer the shock tower from what i know telling you what year it is. if not i think i found the *sort of* productoin date for my mk1 escort stamped into the bottom of my heater box

you are pretty much on the money

the date and year code is still a bit of a mix up

ford cant confirm things either
which way its meant to be as this descrepency always comes up

you have looked HERE

i spose?

looking at your car id say its a 1965 model unless it has a ID tag like this one
then its a 1966
