yeah i saw that one, sounds good minge, this blokes system passes all safety and performance tests, and has a american auto maker and microsoft interested, they`ve done work on a hummer so GM would be a good guess i reckon, the touchable flame is pretty cool (warm fusion anyone?), it will be interesting to see if Uncle Sam will let him patent the fuel system.

But, if I can figure how to place a drawing on here, I'll gladly show you a fitment and wiring diagram that would suit your car.

Hypnodoc, thanks for the support. You're obviously a thinking man with an open mind.

Mik, send me a text message when you're ready and I'll let you know if I'm near the computer at the time.

I've started construction on 6 new units, for my 3 kids, 2 mates, and a spare.

I think the one above didn't work.
Try this, it includes a wiring schematic.

I have been reading into this stuff for the last week, and have some plans to build one from runyourcaronwater.com

Though it looks like a lot of work and testing to get it all right and Im just going to buy one from ebay around 250-350 AU from the u.s. This is complete kit with all electronics so I think its a good price.

Petrol today was $1.71 a ltr, and its only going to get worse as oil companies love extra cash.

Ill let you all know how it goes when I get it.

I have no doubts about croccs savings.

Hasn't been much discussion here about Australia having no water !!!

Would we really be that stupid to use drinking water in our cars and then end up bone dry?

Using sea water would be better, if the car didn't rust-away after 5 kms ;)

Or treated waste water, we just throw our half treated waste water into the sea.

Like Mythbuster who haven't found one that works as claimed, I remain totally skeptical but like everyone else I dream of someone finding an efficient (i.e. it doesn't consume more energy than it produces) and effective way of getting fuel from water so I do wish all those trying luck.

I see there is some healthy skepticism about the Genepax claims too:

why shouldnt we be skeptical. more than half the time wild new inventions use mythical science in order to work. Genepax has yet to proove the technology does what they say at the moment so its really not too different from all the people that have perpetual motion machines hidden in their basement... but cant show us because its top secret.

Its in the news now because its fuel related, but we've been down similar roads many times. As for the water torch isnt that a totally different concept to whatever he would have done to the car. what did he do to the car then?

Just this arvo I came across the fuel log I was keeping on my runs to Victoria.
Prior to this, we were getting 4.7km/ltr.

Cootamundra. Top up @ 437846k. (start of test run)
Bendigo. fill up @438367k. 77.54ltr@154.9/ltr. $120.12

next run:
Cootamundra. 438749k. (top up, start 2nd test run)
Kangaroo Flat. fill up@439288k. 70.58ltr@159.9/ltr. $112.85

Kangaroo Flat is a few k's (17) south of bendigo.
Note the 7 odd litres less (at 17 more k's)
and a saving of $7.27, even though fuel had gone up by 5c/ltr.

2 runs over the same route, same load (empty) pretty well the same weather pattern.
A "real life" on road test, not laps around some circuit under ideal conditions.

All that effort and money spent on the water setup to save about $8 from every tank? I'd rather keep my car reliable and not have to wary about filling the water up, and pay the extra money. or better yet just convert my car to gas and save real money.

Mr crock, when you have this system ready to go would you consider say giving me everything i need to build this eco system. (this to confirm your findings by external party)

I will buy a cheap car, and by your pocket you can build this system for that car. Then i will make some econnomy runs and verify my findings to the forum.

Id say this would be the only way you could prove your findings to the skeptical people.

....and dont mention you have allready done this with mates or someone elses car or what not. Im ready to test this for you.
