Default Mazda Kazamai Concept

http://www.carcentral.com.au/2008061...in-august.html

New Mazda concept could be a CX-5 or the new Tribute. Next Ford Esacpe is expected to be based on the new Kuga so this could in fact be the new Tribute.

Sorry to burst your bubble guys, but chances are this will be the future design of cars. Whether liked or not, wherever Mazda goes (have churned out some pretty sweet designs lately), the rest follow. I quite like it. I mean, if no-one pushed the boundaries, would automotive design be where it is today?

feminine, alien, ugly.

I think I stepped on something that looked like that the other day.

I dont hate mazdas style though, I just havnt seen it used in a way I like exept on the Furai. and that was not for mortal use.

Remember the game "Jacks"? This looks like one of the pieces...

It's not bad. It is only a concept so mazda have obviously used a very extreme design probably to get a reaction.

Over time heaps of the features on that car will problem find their way onto mazda's future cars.

I don't mind it. It has a good stance and interesting lines - love the lines on the doors and the shapes at the front. But what i don't like is the protruding nose and bonnet. makes it look more like a Ssanyong than a Mazda (unfortunately). However, the other Mazda concepts with the Nagare (means flow) concept theme are executed better, in my opinion anyway. Still interesting to see how Mazda puts this into production.
