Looks like it was a good system as well, prob too expensive and not enough customers in Aus - alot of successful recoveries though

It probably has more to do with the ability to 'self-track'... systems are available now that will SMS your mobile if the alarm goes off, the car is tilted over a certain angle (towing/stealing wheels), or it's moved outside your predetermined geofence, etc.

If you don't respond to the SMS, it will then call your mobile, notching up the alert level.

The SMS contains details of vehicles location and (if moving) speed.

Why add the cost of a monitoring service, when the device will do it for you?

Interesting, we have just had 4 machines at work, with quicktrack system on board. (not as in "just fitted", machines are used, but with quicktrak fitted from when it was new)
LOLZ.

I love the top heading (picture). Hows that for misrepresentation now.
